Entry into Myanmar for eligible travelers is managed through a fully digital application process run by the immigration authorities. Core documents consist of a passport valid for at least six months, a recent color photograph, a scan of the passport information page, proof of return travel, and confirmation of accommodation. Once submitted, complete applications are usually reviewed within three working days. Myanmar eVisa approval is delivered as a letter that remains usable for 90 days from the issue date and allows a single entry of up to 28 days for tourism. The printed letter must be presented together with the passport at designated international airports or the Kawthaung border checkpoint upon arrival.
